In the preliminary jury evaluation to be held in July 2025, the application files submitted by the candidates via internet will be reviewed anonymously, and the first evaluation will be conducted. Twenty candidates will be selected to proceed to the second evaluation stage. The evaluation results will be announced on our website https://www.futuretexistanbul.com/.
The designs of the 20 candidates selected for the second evaluation stage by the preliminary jury must be turned into physical samples in sizes of 15*15,17*17,20*20, 40*40 or 50*50 and sent to the General Secretariat of ITKIB by hand or prepaid courier no later than the end of business hours in 31th of July 2025.
The jury will conduct the second evaluation based on physical samples in August 2025. During the second evaluation, candidates will present their designs face to face to the jury. Interviews with candidates can also be conducted via online meeting upon request. The jury will select the 10 candidates to advance to the final stage based on the second evaluation. The results will be announced on the same day on our website.
The designs of the 10 finalists entering the final stage will be turned into fabric of industrial quality with the support of manufacturers selected by İTHİB. The produced fabrics will be transformed into clothing by sector experts also selected by İTHİB. Travel and accommodation expenses for finalists to collaborate with the producer during the production stage will be covered by the organization upon request.
The final of the competition is planned to be held in October 2025. Four designs per finalist will be presented to the final jury through a special pre-presentation. Following the special presentation, designs will be presented to the jury and guests on the final night with a fashion show. Designs deemed worthy of awards by the jury will be announced after the fashion show. Travel, accommodation, and expenses for the final day in Istanbul will be covered by İTHİB for the 10 finalists.
